As of now the plan is that we will have our normal clinic appointment on Monday then Thursday we will have a long day. This will involve a bone marrow biopsy (unless the clinical trial he is a part of is very specific about the day this is to be done) as well as having his Hickman Catheter removed. Joe and I are both hoping that the biopsy will be done this week so that we can get the big answer sooner.
This is where the big prayer request comes in. I cannot stress the importance of these results enough. This biopsy will tell us if this was all worth it. They are primarily looking to see if there are any blast cells present. If there are none, than the transplant was a success. Transplant was our only hope for a full cure, so that is why we are praying desperately that is was a huge success. Please join us in this prayer, and that we would be able to rest in the peace of God until we get those results.
