Please lift us up prayer tonight.
We were discharged from the hospital this afternoon. It felt great. Got on the road right away and got to Duke. Just as we were settling in for bed I took Joes temperature and it was at 101.0 with a high heart rate. Unfortunately we had to call the doctor and he told us we had to go to the hospital.
Here we are. At Duke on the oncology floor. We're pretty heartbroken and tired. 8 hours of freedom was not enough.
Please be praying for us and that this is a short visit. We won't know for a bit if Joe will be discharged tonight or if we'll actually need to be admitted.
